The sixth installment of Rvng Intl.’s Mx series. This volume features Glasgow DJ JD Twitch and takes a look back at some of the 70s and 80s punk influences of his past. The package features a mix cd titled “60 Minutes of Fear” and the accompanying “10 Inches of Fear” with new edits of four select tracks from the Crass Records catalog. We could have gotten really nostalgiac and made the cover we would have made if we were in a crusty band and it was 1980, but we decided to keep it clean and dramatic with 2 simple assualts on Futura Extra Bold. Each image started with the word “fear” which was then cut up to create compositions that would relate to each titles’ reference to measurements (length and time). The compositions were finally screenprinted onto wet paper creating crude and unpredictable results. The whole thing is fitted nicely into a poorly screenprinted canvas sleeve made to fray.
