Recently we completed a fellowship with the Brodsky Center for Innovative Editions. Our work explored the idea of collectible vs. disposable. As individuals who do not consider ourselves collectors, we used our small budget to build a collection of 80 Ramones albums over a two week period which involved record stores, eBay, lying to collectors, begging our friends, etc. Once we had our collection, of course, we loved it, we were proud of it and quite attached. The next day, we removed the covers, beat them to a pulp and created a new collection: Ramones Commemorative Plates: handmade paper from recycled Ramones LP jackets with a 1-color pulp screenprint of the band’s original lineup, in an edition of 30 sets of 4.

is there any way i can buy some of these plates? My brother loves ramones and his birthday is coming up and my family wants to throw him a ramones themed party. If not, its cool, but I would really love these plates for his birthday. ps, they are friggin awsome!
